Resources
As part of our commitment to create resources to engage society in our research, we have produced several interdisciplinary projects that resonate science and art. These have included comics, which have also drawn the collaboration from illustrators and patient associations.
Comics for Science
"Amy-what? A story of challenges, courage, support and hope" tells the story of a patient who receives his amyloidosis diagnosis, and how confusing and lengthy this can be. We then follow his journey into discovering Amybel, the Belgium Amyloidosis Patient Association, and BE.Amycon, the VIB Grand Challenges Project, who are building the first amyloidosis expertise network in Belgium.
