Biophysics
The Switch Laboratory at VIB-KU Leuven Center for Neuroscience established the expertise platform Molecular Biophysics Leuven. We utilise molecular biophysical techniques and instruments in our daily research, measuring protein folding, conformation and stability, as well as interactions between proteins, DNA and other biomolecules. In addition to hosting state-of-the-art technology, we also offer expertise, support and training to research groups at the Center and beyond.
We conduct maintenance on our equipment and arrange purchases, follow-up installation and directly liaise with company representatives and engineers so that you don’t have to. We are also constantly scouting for the latest technology and cutting-edge innovations that make sample characterization and interaction analysis more sensitive, accurate and easier for our users.
The Biophysics Unit is headed by Valentina Zorzini (valentina.zorzini@vib.be).
