The VIB Nucleomics Core

Genomics & Nucleonics

Through both our host institutes, VIB and KU Leuven, there is access to next-generation sequencing technologies and analysis. There are personalized expert services available for expression analysis, RNA and DNA sequencing, including both short (Illumina) and long read sequencing (Pacific Biosciences and Oxford Nanopore) technologies.

The VIB Genomics Core Leuven is headed by Stefaan Derveaux (stefaan.derveaux@vib.be). The KU Leuven Genomics Core is headed by Wouter Bossuyt (wouter.bossuyt@kuleuven.be).

VIB Nucleomics Core

The VIB Nucleomics Core offers personalized expert services in the fields of expression analysis, and RNA and DNA sequencing to the life science community (VIB, other academic institutions and industry). Technologies offered are Short Read Sequencing (Illumina) and Long Read Sequencing (Pacific Biosciences and Oxford Nanopore Technologies). The core is headed by Stefaan Derveaux.
