A Business Development Catalyst supports Principal Investigators at the project-management level, working closely with them to deeply understand the science and help shape translational projects for the highest chance of success. The role also drives cross-center collaborations within VIB and builds strategic partnerships with external organizations to accelerate innovation and impact.

Laura Lapienyte - Business Development Manager within the Neuroscience centers
As the first point of contact for Principal Investigators, Laura supports the Center for Neuroscience by managing contracts, licensing our assets, and fostering strategic partnerships and R&D collaborations. She also organizes company visits, represents the center at partnering events like BIO, and works to create opportunities that drive innovation and collaboration.
